I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work Associate (LSWAIC), and received my Masters of Social Work, with a Mental Health concentration, in March of 2016. Prior to pursuing my Masters’ degree and the dream of becoming a therapist, I volunteered at Bellevue LifeSpring, a non-profit organization, as the social services intern. I helped the organization provide services to local residents living in poverty. It was during that experience that I truly recognized and understood the link between Mental Health and quality of life. I decided to dedicate my life to learning about Mental Health and help individuals overcome their difficulties. I’m currently working towards my Independent Clinical Social Work License.
I believe in a collaborative environment where my clients and I work together as we uncover and work through various layers of problems. We will work towards self-acceptance and self-love. I will work alongside you as you work through your trauma and learn to love yourself.
I use various therapeutic approaches with my clients that include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relational Therapy, and Acceptance-Commitment Therapy. I employ these approaches through a strength-based lens. I believe in focusing on my client’s inner strength for support as we go through the difficult journey.
I am excited and honored to work alongside you as you go through this journey of self-fulfillment.
I work with adults over the age of 18, and my areas of expertise are as follows:
